Went to the In-laws this weekend and stopped on the way at a flea market. I think I got lucky!  3 - Risto raps in SB, SD, & TSD 7 - Down deep rattlin fat raps size 5 : 2 - OCW, 2 - SB, 2 - TSD, & 1 in SD 1 - Down deep rattlin fat rap in size 7 TSD 1 - HJ-14 TSD in the box with the silver plated sticker on front 2 - SR-7's S & P 1 - SR-5 S 1 - F-9 S 1 - F-11 S 1 - F-11 SFC 1 - CD-7 S 1 - J-11 S 1 - Skitter Pop HCL Size 9 1 - Sliver NF 1 - Minnow Spoon green/gold Most of these were without boxes, but for the price I really didn't care. Don't think any of these are at all rare, but still fun to find them. Some will get wet and hopefully battle scarred, some will get tucked away.  |

Finding those Down deep fat raps in the box or out of box is a great find. Those would bring good money IF you decided to sell them. The Risto's were a great find as well, box or not, If any of them are size 5 I would LOVEEEE to do some trading or something with you....  I would make it worth your time. HJ-14 in Tennesse shad with the original box and Sticker? Wow... excellent find. It's always fun and exciting to find Rare and Nice Rap's for a bargain. I found a tackle shop the other day with TONS of silver plated Shad Raps in different colors and sizes, but the owner wants TEN BUCKS for each one... that immediately takes the fun out of Rap hunting. I told him I would spend 200-300 dollars if he could drop it down to 7-8, but he told me some bullcrap about how he couldn't cut me a deal because there was no Mark-up on any of them.....Bull HOCKEY. |

LOL...if there was no mark-up on them then why is he selling them? If he still has silver-plated Shad Raps in his store he must not be getting enough fishing traffic, hence the 10.00 price tab. The markup on some of these smaller tackle shops are crazy but its to be expected. Plus that guy is making at least 4.00 on each of those lures easy... |

Exactly, he's already made a killing off me. The ones that I bought were probably 7-8 years old, and even they were marked up to 9.95. It's bullcrap, I think I'm gonna walk in on saturday with about 250 dollars and lay it out for him. I'll tell him if he drops the price to 7 I will spend it all. If he won't drop the price then I'm immediately walking out of the store and he can keep his HUGE wall of shad raps.  Although I already got all his REALLY rare stuff that I didn't mind paying 9.95 for. |
