I thought they discontinued the fat raps? I was on the rapala site and they show the fat rap as available in size 3 (mini fat rap) and size 5. I didn't know you could still get size 5? or is this just a typo? They also have a pic of one in the new firetiger, which looks pretty sweet

Yep you can still buy fatraps. The have colors listed on the site. The mini just came out with a bunch of new colors. I just got a bunch from Cabelas online or in the store. Great bait but I miss the old colors like Gold!

They really, really need to bring back the FR-07. It's a can't miss. They really need to put me on the Board of Directors....  |

I guess I have never saw the FR-5's for sale, maybe I will have to look harder lol I only know of one place I have ever bought fat raps and it was a sport shop so I picked up four old ones

they really, really, reallllly need to bring back the SFR-7.
they brought back the FR7 last year, unfortunately only for malaysia/thailand.
and i think i saw a few colors FR5 at cabelas.
the MFR3 came out in G.

They had there big sale this spring. 25 percent of all Rapala's. I wouldnt count on seeing a big sale like that again. I think it was kind of kick off to the 50 years celebration. I picked up a few more then I needed for fishing but with prices on the rise I should be set for a long time.

well sometimes they throw specials on certain older styles kinda like how gander mountain puts their DT's on sale for $3.99 a lot. They had just the sure sets on sale today so I picked up two dt fat 1's, but you could even get the thugs for $3.99
