I've been looking to buy a sliver for some time, but my main question has anyone had any success with casting these instead of trolling? I know the rapala site says they go 9-11 feet, but how deep do they really go? (I know plenty of rapalas that dont go anywhere near the depth they state) I do a lot of fishing for muskie (mostly casting hardly any trolling), and would like to give these a try so any help would be appreciated

I've never tried them on muskie, however I am thinking like you since I put some in my tackle box last week to try on ole esox. Unfortunately muskie season doesn't open until first week in June. The rapalas that have been successful for me with muskie are the super shad rap and the tail dancer while fishing for walleye.
