I just read the e-mail from Rapala and they just signed Mike Iaconelli to their pro staff. Ike has been one of my favorite pro anglers for a long time.

It is fun to watch his antics on the water. I've seen people screaming on a boat but never break dancing until Ike. I think this is a good move for Rapala.

Nice!! He is definitely my favorite pro, and I live 10 minutes from where he grew up. I can't wait to see what he brings to the pro staff!!

that is so so wierd... the other day i was doing a little rapala surfing and ran into rapala japans hat dept, found an awesome hat, but thought at the time that it was something i would expect to see Ike wearing, and lamented to the fact that it would be cool to have him as a Rapala Pro, then today i see that email. maybe im psychic. Awesome! Definitely a good look for Rapala. I remember reading an older article about Ike and how he uses Rapala crankbaits, I think he was praising the Fat Rap and Shad Rap lures in that article, and it made me wonder why he was not a part of Rapala.
I would love to see him design his own Balsa crankbait for Rapala.
