I can't tell you any info/history about them... but I can tell you that I REALLY need a LCM-10 in Brown Trout for my collection... lol.
I'm sure Bacon can drop some knowledge on this subject.

Just picked up a long cast #10 in BT. Anybody have any info on when they made these or which ones are more collectible. They quit making them a while ago.....7...8 years ago.... maybe even a little longer than that. I collect them myself and have a thread with a bunch of pics of my stash. There are a few that are a lot harder to find than the BT, however, it is very much a keeper. You can still find some on Ebay, but the Brown trout commands a much higher price than others due to it being a very popular pattern. Red Heads and some of the other Japanese Colors fetch even higher prices due to their scarcity in the states, but you found a very desirable one. I would like another one myself and the Rainbow Trout as well. They are 2 of the most productive colors where I live in the Rocky Mountains. I have a couple I fish with and 1 still new in the box of each in my collection....but I would like to find another of each to hold onto just in case I lose one this season. I have a Hot Chub with serious scars from a Northern Pike that I still use as well but already have a couple back-ups for it. Go to the Image Gallery and you'll find pics of my stash, Jason has a bunch of pics in his and so does jmcfish10101973. There are a few I'm missing so feel free to PM me if you come across any....I will paypal instantly or work a trade....whatever it takes, for them if it is one I need for the collection or for a back-up.

(Shad and Hot Chub) and I am on the hunt for every U.S.A. catalog color. Creature, I will definitely give them a call... thank you for the connection.

BT.....hmmm.....wouldn't the correct color code for that Long Cast just simply be 'TR' as the Brown Trout is for every other Rapala? Just want to clear it up in order to avoid confusion for other folks....
