I've been searching eBay for ages now looking for some 6lb Sufix 832 Neon Lime braid with no relative results (has to be able to be shipped to Israel) So, what are the alternatives? PowerPro only starts at 10lb and is quite thick diameter wise (even though they state otherwise). How about Sufix Performance Braid or the newish Spiderwire Stealth? Or how about Hi Seas Wildfire Braid? Is there anything reasonably priced to compare with Sufix 832? Remember it's 6lb hi-vis that I'm after. Nigel

Stay away from the spiderwire stuff it's rubbish in my opinion. Do you really need as small a line diameter as that, i cant see how the difference of a couple of thou is gonna effect bite sensitivity or reduce your spool capacity by that much.

Do you really need as small a line diameter as that, i cant see how the difference of a couple of thou is gonna effect bite sensitivity or reduce your spool capacity by that much. I have an ultralight reel that has a spool capacity of 100m+ (can't remember exactly) and I spooled it with PowerPro 10lb - but could only get a maximum of 75m on it. The PowerPro had a claimed .15mm dia - but when I measured it in our works lab, it was between .21-.26mm which explains why I could only get 75m instead of 100m+ on the reel. So now I'm looking for 6lb braid with it's corresponding thinner dia as I need the extra meters for the sea fishing I'm doing -- never know what might hit the lure Nigel
