Apologies if this kind of thread has been done before, I didn't find anything when I did a search. When I'm not fishing I quite enjoy watching documentaries/programmes on fishing. We tend to get a lot of repeats here on sky tv here in the uk, but we do still get the odd series. So I thought I would list some of stuff I've been watching/know of, I'm always on the lookout for stuff to watch so feel free to list them here.
Extreme fishing - currently up to series 5 being aired the now here in the uk. Robson green certainly ain't the best angler in the world but it's ok seeing a daft geordie fishing in places all over the world that I'll never get to fish. There's quite a few of the fly fishing anglers who moan about him and dislike how he's on the tv but I honestly think they just love moaning
Fish warrior - second series of this was just aired on the discovery channel here in the uk. Definitely worthy of a watch in my opinion, if you want to see a world record holder on the hunt for world record fish then Jakub Vágner is your man.
River monsters - currently watching these after they've been aired in the US. Series 3 is being shown in the states the now (only series 1 has been shown here in the UK
). Another great show in my opinion which has a different approach as jeremy wade is a biologist as well as a angler. Has some awesome fish in awesome locations.
Mark Bergs Fishing Addiction - have only seen a few of these but from what I've seen it's purely lure fishing for all the different species that the folks down under have. Worthy of a watch if you can find it on the net.
Hopefully some other folks have some programmes to add to my to view list
