I don't profess to know much about lure boxes but I came across this J-11 on eBay and it is not in a 'normal' box. Maybe it is an old type box or a limited edition? Anyway it still has 1 day on the auction and only 1 bidder @ $2.99 : J-11 in strange boxNigel

I collect all lures in the "Rapala Fishing Club boxes" They seem to be pretty old, and I love finding those boxes in good condition. I have many lures in the "Rapala Fishing Club" boxes.... I have rattlin fat raps, CD-9's, SSR-7's and SSR-8's, Original and Jointed, and MANY other lures all in the "Fishing Club" boxes.
I will post a picture of all the lures I have in the "Fishing Club" boxes.

So here is a photo of the J-11 in the 'Fishing Club' box: It has 'Ireland' on the lip. It looks like the lure has never been fished as there is a line of red color on the lure's side where it has been sitting in the box for apparently a long time and the red from the box insert has transferred to the lure. It also looks like it has been kept in a humid place for some of its life as there is corrosion on the hooks and split rings (it would also explain the color transfer to the lure). Apart from that the box is in excellent condition with its hang tag neatly folded onto the back of the box. Although the box is not sealed I have not been able to find any trace of any glue whatsoever. I might put it up for trade or for sale but only if somebody is really interested -- if not I will use the lure for fishing (after changing the split rings and hooks). Nigel
