Just in case anyone needed a good laugh, I figured I'd show you guys how I rolled home the other day!! I have a little 10 foot jon boat I have been fishing out of. I have no truck and no trailer, and live about 10 minutes walk from the local lake I fish at. So in order to get there I strap my boat to this little wheel setup I have and roll down the street. Well, the other day, on my way there I was stopped by a friendly gentleman who happened to live on the lake. He told me he had a similar boat which he never used, and that I could just have it!!! Hell of a nice gesture IMO!!!! Of course he lived on the opposite side of the lake from where I enter, so I tied the new boat to the back of my boat, and paddled(no motor either) all the way back across the lake!! I see plenty of people cracking up as I roll my one boat down the road, but with two I'm sure I really had them laughing!! The new boat is a 12 footer so it worked pretty easily. Now I can take all my nieces and nephews at once, or have a little competition between me and my buddies!! Being as broke as I am, getting a boat for free is pretty darn awesome!!! Thanks random stranger guy!!!!

That is the best story I have heard in a long time. I was a skateboarder for 20+ years and the only people who can rival a skateboarder when it comes to getting things done is a fisherman. A skater will build, dig, sweep, amongst other things to skate a spot. Every fisherman I know now has the same tenacity, I love it!!

Lol that is a pretty good story. At least you have a boat. I have been fishing out of an inner tube for years.
