Was not completely happy with my previous reel.
I sold the Shimano Seido 2500 FA and bought me a Shimano Rarenium CI4 2500 wich is better, smoother, more reliable and lighter!
The complete setup of line, rod and reel are only 370 grams!! (13,05 OZ)
I am really happy

Your wish is my command: It has monofil. on it because of a troutfishingtrip next monday  Braid will be spooled on the extra spool (exact same spool)   |

after the troutfishingtrip I am going for pike on tuesday. Can't wait to hook a big one on this reel!!! the drag system is sublime!!!

No, they arent to big.. infact, they are exact the right size on this setup. to be frank, I designed them in order to work with my personal setup.

I think I can say that this is a great reel!! Best way to test it,.. catch a pike couple hours ago, caught on my latest spinner (see the "dressed hook" topic)  |

I just bought the new Quantum Smoke reel this year, boy is it light. I have got some use out of it so far and am pleased with my results. I have it one a light bass pro shops rod and I don't know what the complete setup weighs, but it is quite light.
