....definitely an intriguing looking reel with the dual knobs on it for a spinning reel... ANyone every own one or have any thoughts on it?

My father had one. He seemed to like it solid reel fair price. I never like the two handles. If your in the market for a new reel a cheep solid reel I would say Okuma Hardstone its a Cabelas exculsive. I purchases 3 for the canoe this year and have been very happy. My normal reels run north of 130 so to get a solid reel for 30 bucks was nice no problems and they have a nice drag and are well built.

Don't own that reel but always preferred the double handle over the single (the reel feels more balanced when winding in in my opinion). Some anglers who don't like them will buy the single handle from shimano here. When you buy a okuma reel here they come with both styles of handles

I'm not a fan of the dual handle. My wife uses them and likes them. They are a good reel for the money. If it says Shimano on it, it's hard to go wrong.
