This Pike wouldnt take the F-13 yesterday, kept on following, no bite. Now today I tricked him with a FLR10 Chrome. Twiched it twice after casting it on the green stuff and WHAM!!! (no not the george micheal band haha)   Really weird spot to find such nice fish.. it is only 1,5 ft deep here.  |

First take on a Shallow Shadrap 7 CLN, small pike.  then I got the news that I am hired at my new job so I went home. |

Picked these up in the Detroit River last night, all on #11 Floaters. Biggest was 27 inches long and just under 7 pounds.  |

Yea I cut the gills to bleed them out before I fillet them. A lot less mess and no blood in the meat.

Yeah, if you look closer you can see that I was wearing my office shoes.
This was after an office day and very unprepaired. only a rod and the new lure with me.
