Wondering how many rapalas members from this site find a year. Today my friend and I found a big HJ in a fire tiger patter, a X-rap in a blue pattern, and my favorite, a clackin' rap in a fire tiger pattern. We also found several other lures but I was excited about the rapalas and he didn't want them because there was algae growing on them.. I took them home and fixed them up. All of them are ready to be fished again, just need to get another feathered tail hook for the x-rap. Nothing better than finding rapalas. Also caught a 18in saugeye tonight, which was the first fish I have ever caught in the area we were fishing.

I will be going back tomorrow to fish a little and look for more. It is common for people to use HJ down where I go for Muskie so if I'm lucky I may find a couple more.

I like most have lost a whole hell of a lot more than I have ever found. But one I do remember finding a long time ago was just a simple Shad Rap 5 in chartreuse. I took it home, changed out the rusted hooks and split rings, and it still resides in my tackle box to this day.

I found a down deep fat rap in a chrome blue color with a red bottom, and a chartreuse lip, just a few days ago. Other than that, I've not found much. Lots of other lure brands, but nothing I really like.

Alright, so I went back out to the spot where I found and found a bunch more lures. Between my last two searches I found 30+ lures, 14 of which being rapalas. It was a great day searching for lures, I found jointed, x-rap, clackin', rattlin', and Hjs.

I have only found a few spinnerbait, a spoon, a Mepps spinner or two, some lead and plain fishing hooks, and a couple others that I do not remember what they were. I must be unlucky, no Rapalas for me (yet!). Are you looking in popular fishing rivers/streams?

Fishohio,
how are you finding theses lures? Are you diving in the water or are they hanging in trees. Please let us in on the scoop.

Fishohio, how are you finding theses lures? Are you diving in the water or are they hanging in trees. Please let us in on the scoop. People get snagged and loose them when the water gets high. Then when it lowers I just wade and find them. Also I have been snorkeling and found some. I have found around *25+ rapalas* in the last 3week visits to the spot.

Lol sorry I posted from my phone and it auto corrected it. I meant 25+ rapalas and forgot to put a space in between it. That many pounds is a little ridiculous, good catch bulldog.
