Just curious if Risto Raps are worth much $$$? I may have an opportunity to by some at $4 each plus shipping, and would be interested in reselling them if I did purchase them. I do not know the sizes/colors since I am not familiar at all with them but I know one of the colors is Shad. I could possibly get more info if this is not enough to determine a range of what they are worth.

Size 4 sell for quite a bit of money, but the other sizes mostly range from $5-$10 depending on color

If you can get RR-4 or RR-5 for five dollars that would be an excellent investment, also if you can get them in Parrot or Hot Mustard, in any size.

risto raps are highly collectable and i have seen some rr-4 and rr-5 go for $20.00 and up.rr-7 thru rr-9 go for between $15.00 to $25.00 and up sometimes it all comes down to the timeing and if someone would like to have that one color for his or her collection and or fishing box.timeing is everything about e-bay rapalas are selling for low prices right now.i think the reason is that alot people are on vaction and fishing.
some special colors go for $50.00 and up
if you hold on to them and list them in the fall around x-mas time you will get higher prices for them.summer time is not a good time to sell i think.here is my prices i think they should sell for.
1. parrots in all sizes $15.00 to $25.00 each 2. hot mustard in all sizes $12.00 to $18.00 each 3. all silver plated colors in all sizes $18.00 to $25.00 each 4. all shad colors in all sizes $12.00 to $20.00 each
all above prices plus shipping costs so add what ever the costs are and that is the total for each lure.
all this is just my thinking about this

I'm more in agreement with Collector 90 on his prices. I think that you can pick up most Risto raps for around 7-12 a peice. I wanted some #5 Risto's and have been watching them a lot. I watched a lot of the colors sell for about 6 -8 dollars. Saw a 3 pack of HM go for 30 dollars so 10 dollars each saw some of the Silver and Plum go for 8 dollars. I purchased 2 gold for 13.50 two days ago. I was also lucky enough to find some in the store a week or two ago but couldnt pass up the chance to add a few more gold to my box.

I picked up a few a while back for $5 a piece at a sport shop that was going out of business, I was grabbing all of the hot mustard and parrot colors because I've watched them go for big money on ebay, and then I watched ebay and they were all selling for like $10 including shipping lol needless to say I'm just going to keep mine in my collection now instead of selling them

Larger sizes are going pretty cheap right now. $5-10.
I'm not too sure about your idea John. I think that more people would buy in the early spring rather than in the winter...not sure many people are thinking about fishing crankbaits in the winter...
Just my opinion.

When to sell or not sell. I think john might be right I think prices are better in the late fall and winter months. I think people have the fishing itch and have the time to play around and spend more. I know I have got some nice deals this summer vs the winter. I know that the sports shop people told me I had the Itch this winter when I would go in and buy stuff. They said lots of people come in to the store in Feb March and April to get stuff.

I am thinking about getting rid of some as well but not really sure the best route to do so. I have never sold anything on EBay only Craigslist but these may be better suited for somewhere other than Craigslist.
I have a RR-7's & RR-5's in Parrot, Hot Mustard, Green Shad, Blue Shad, Plum Shad, Silver, Gold.
On the fence really about selling them. They are used not NIB but used very rarely. I prefer rattling baits.
What would guys suggested?
Thanks,
Travis
