Members and pictures, etc.

I was going through the "Image Gallery" forum yesterday looking for different members' collections and pictures. In particular, I enjoy looking at vintage fat raps/shallow fat raps, etc. I realized that there are so many great collections from members on this site that I had not seen yet.... and unfortunately there are alot of pictures that are not showing up anymore. I suppose there are some pictures of Lures I will never get a chance to see.

And Bacon............. From what I understand, Bacon had (has?) one of the finest Fat Rap collections you would ever see. Did he ever make a complete catalouge of his collection?

Anyway, I just got the feeling that I have missed alot of good pictures and stuff over the years. Would sure like to see some more Fat Rap pics around here.

Sad to say that when images get moved or deleted from online albums it has an impact on anywhere the URL was posted.

I used to have collection pics too until I took them down once the collection was sold off; personally it didn;t make sense to leave them up if I didn't have them anymore, but it would still be of value to other folks.

Yeah I saw some of your pictures Ted and your MFR-3 collection. I'm working on getting my FR-5's displayed kind of the same way you had your MFR3's displayed.

It would be cool if we had a thread where everybody just chipped in and posted pictures. Like start the thread off with everybody posting pictures of their vintage Floaters and Countdowns..... And after a while, switch the topic to DD-90's, Fat Raps, Magnums, Shad Rap, etc. Everybody post their lures...... but you can't post the same lure somebody else did, and you can't post in the thread unless you have a picture to show.
Lol.. Just a random idea that floated into my mind, but it would be pretty cool if alot of people participated.
