Finally got to go Fishing!!!!

After all the I have put up with in the past couple months I finally got the chance to do a little fishing

I took my favorite SFR-7 for a swim today and had some luck with it.The bass I have in the picture was the only fish I could land 3 casts after this one I hooked another Bass only to have another bass come and rip the lure free so I ended up with nothing.I had a decent size Pike follow it on the next cast which I didn't want to have happen so I packed it up and went down to the local river to try for some Smallies.

I caught 1 small bass that got off as soon as I got the camera ready

I then got snagged on something and I'll be damned if I was going to lose that lure.So I did what any Rapala nut does when snagged.I went after it Qbert style

I could just imagine what people were thinking as the watched me trying to get my lure back. Probably along the lines off look at that Dumbass

Anyway here are some pics of the only Bass I managed to get out of the water.I forgot to mention that SFR-7 RCW sure looked pretty in the fishes mouths

Nice to see you got a chance to get out on the water!!! Very nice pics!! And glad to hear you got your SFR-7 RCW back!! I go tree climbing and swimming for easily replaceable lures!! I can only imagine what you would have gone through to get that bad boy back!!!!

I had a fairly easy swim to get it back.If that would have failed I had a back up plan. I'm a certified diver so it would have been a trip back home to get the gear and get it that way.

I normally wouldn't fish a lure like that,but I just try it for some reason Now that it has some battle scars it can go back in the box.

Given what those SFR-7s have been selling for, I would have done the same. But I will bet that is the first SFR-7 RCW those fish had ever seen before...and that alone is a huge advantage....
