Hey everyone, this newbie here has a question.. i was out fishing on a lake at my buddies cottage and we ran into an older fisherman that was sporting a new rapala lure and he was pulling in a bass on almost every cast. I started fishing beside him with a hj-10 yellow perch minnow and didnt even get a single bite. He was telling me that the new lure he was using had new a new graphic/decal on the minnow that looked much more life like, but stupid me didnt ask the model of the lure. So i attempted to do some looking around for this lure but was unable to the new and improved life like lure. He did mention something about a store here (Toronto, Ont) called La Baron but i had no luck, but much of the stock was sold out. So i guess what i wanna know is did rapala recently change the designs and print of the lures? and if so is it all the newer models or just certain a series? oh and his lure was a bright perch color. The only think I can think of is maybe he has his hands on some of the new 2012 lures? Aside from that I can't really wager a guess... |
