OLD Husky 13 SFC

I had alot of stuff to carry into my man cave when I got home tonight, but my first trip I was only carrying one thing just to make SURE it got settled in ok..........



I don't know if I will ever be able to let go of this one. I was having a bad day at work, I had to crawl under an old trailer to repair a waterline. We left there and stopped at O.C. Whitson's general store about ten miles from my house, figured I might as well ask about fishing lures...... top rack, two rows from the right, amidst all the spinners and worm hooks and sinkers, the ONLY Rapala they had in the store. I thought I was looking at an F-13 and then I saw "HUSKY" I took it up to the counter, she looked at it for a minute and I got scared....... then she said "ehhhh give me 1.50$"

Sorry for the pointless thread but I was just so stoked about finding this gorgeous, handcrafted, balsa Rapala lure I just had to share.

I've always said I want to avoid being a hardcore collector but I am now officially a die-hard Husky 13 collector. I don't know much about them, this is literally the only one I've ever seen in person. So... if anybody wants to take me under their wing and help me get started that would be great.

I wish I had every Husky that was ever made hanging up on my bulletin board with this one.

Very nice find and insanely good price lol husky 13's are a collection I will never try to finish. I only have two of the new classic collections and I know some of the special colors sell for over $100 on ebay. Ill stick to the DD90s lol

Thank you John, I was tickled to death when I saw this thing.

I think the Husky 13 will eventually become the most collectible Rapala lure out there. It's such a nice bait, and the name " Husky 13 " just has such a nice ring to it.... lol.
