Today I fished the Minnesota bass opener! Tried out the clackin crank and it paid off!! Caught a 5 pounder and a 3 pounder. Far as I'm concerned it just paid for itself. Great fun! Now I can hardly wait for the Muskie opener next week. I'll be trying out some lures that I made this year.

Personally I have a feeling the Clackin Crank will have more success than the Clackin Minnow, just my personal opinion....well done!

I agree "Fishooked", I picked up one Clackin' Minnow just to have one, but I made sure I bought a few of each size of the Clackin' Crank in what is usually my most productive colors for where I fish. And, have already caught bass on the CNC74 in Olive.

Pretty work on the bass.... I have not bought a clackin crank yet but I think it's high time to do so.

I haven't tried out my Clackin' Rap yet, been too busy using the flat rap. It sounds like it is time to try something new. What kind of lures do you make? I just have recently started making my own.

I can never be satisfied with one of any lure. So I went out and got another clackin crank since it proved successful. I have since caught several bass with them and I am pleased with the success I've had with them. As far as the lures that I make; I make inline spinner baits for muskie in several different configurations. I've had emough success with them that it is nearly all that I fish with for muskie. I've had to return to NC but I left some of my new prototypes for a new type of muskie lure with a friend in MN for testing and evaluation. I'll be returning to MN in Aug. and hope to catch my 50 incher.

I used to make spinners. I just never really fished with them so I stopped. I may make a couple more before I go up to Canada. There are some Muskie here in Ohio, but I rarely go after them. It is hard without a boat.
