I would like to know if anyone has had the pleasure of using the CLACKIN' RAP yet ? If so, how well does it perform etc.

I've used them a few times, but again no luck. I think the CNR-8 is a little large, plus the price tag 8.99 and up has kept me away somewhat, although I do have like 6 of them They do cast like a rocket, but they should lose the SureSet hooks; those are great for ripping over the tops of weedbeds, but those SureSet hooks catch more lettuce than regular ones. I think the move to the CNR-6 size is a good one, but they'd better be under 7.00 (which I doubt)

I finally found one, a CNR-08, I have not caught anything either, but my friend hauled in a nice Northern two days ago, with the same lure. He was very happy, and we were fishing off the shore line.

Guys use them here in the Bow. 7/16 oz, a bit to big for my Light spinning 6 lb rod Hahah. They work pretty well tho it seems.

I don't know if it was a fluke but I have caught a lot of walleye on the CNR-8 so far.I wasn't catching fish on anything else so I said what the hell I might as well try it even though its a bass lure. ANd what do ya know it worked well. The only downfall of this lure is its price
