My father and I discovered 2 years ago that white Bass had made it into out local lake. We know they came in through the river system. Needless to say we hate them as they are not a native fish to Northern WI. My question is how can you target these fish? I'm hoping someone who has them in their area could give me a tip. We think they are schooling in the middle of the lake but were not sure.

We have them in NE, I use mini fat raps. If you get into a school of them they seem to hit anything. They are good to eat if you get the red meat cut out.

yep.. they will hit anything if you find a school. Best time around here is May and June. I normally don't bother catching them, but there are times when they are closer to the surface and it becomes fun to catch them on skitter walks.... one on each cast, or sometimes even two.

They'll drill anything you get in front of them... Getting them off your lure can be a prickly-situation, especially when you get into them thick...
