I received my package from John yesterday, boy was I happy!!
I got a DRFR-7 SB, an F-9 VLP, an SSR-5 GALB, and a SR-7 Mills Fleet Farm anniversary (manni). Thanks again John for such great lures, and for coming up with this idea in the first place.



It turned out to be pretty nice today, and I had off of work, so I actually did some fishing today. I managed to use a 3 of the 4 of the lures you sent to add to my list in my Rapala Bet thread. I'll post the pics there!!!

If you're still in, you really need to reply to Tommy's email (aka happyshad) so you two can exchange addresses. At this point I think happyshad should wait until he receives your lures before he sends his out. Just my opinion.

this was such a great idea, i hope next year we can all do something like this again, maybe there is a few other ways of doing this, or expanding on the idea. for the most part it went great, unless your happyshad. LOL. hes still happy anyway i bet.

I agree that we should do it again, but I think we're going to have to limit it to board veterans and such, or at least people that aren't going to just disappear.

I had a feeling we'd have at least a couple of people that agreed to do it and wouldn't. Next time if you are new to the site or relatively unknown, then you'll be required to ship your package first so no one gets screwed over, like happyshad did.

We're all a pretty easygoing group of guys with no board drama (that Im aware of) and I'd like to keep it that way.

At least I didn't send him anything other than emails and pm's - I couldn't have sent him anything anyway - He didn't respond so I didn't have an address!

Ryan - being that your partner is from SE Asia - maybe it's just taking some time for it to arrive?

It's still been fun to watch this and see who got what from whom! And I will definitely participate in this kind of stuff in the future!

I agree with Ted on this. I don't think we should automatically exclude new people from something like this, because there were a few people I knew nothing about previously, who did end up holding up their end of the bargain. In the future, just having an unknown person send their package first would solve any issues like we had this time!!!

I had a lot of fun with this and certainly hope we can do it again!!!

I wanna participate again. This was really fun. I love to see what people got also really like that Bottle opener rapala lol. I like the colorful lures the most. But my favorite will always be dark blue.
