...but I sure hope I can get out at least one more time this year.

Finally got a chance to get back out onto the lake.
Temperature had to be 25-30 degrees on the lake Saturday morning...thankfully the sun made it bearable.

Slow day out, only managed 4 fish but it was good to get out after over a month of no fishing.





Most fish were caught on my favortite spring/fall bait, #11 Minnow Rap in Silver:

hi all.

we caught some pike again sunday.
it is unusually warm here for this time of the year.
no rain for many weeks in a row, water very low and clear.
not always sunny, but typical november fog have spared us mostly so far.
if it stays like this for a little more, i will be out on the water for much longer than i had been in many years before around this time of year.
