Hey all,
I feel like I've been away forever (a month?). Having major computer issues, and I haven't done the ProBoards app for my IPhone yet to be able to access the forum from it.
But, anyway, I finally found some of the new Rapalas for sale retail (Bass Pro Shops). Picked up a Jointed Husky Jerk, an XRap Pop, and a Rippin Rap. They also had the XRap Prop, but only in a very large size so I passed. Unfortunately they didn't have the Ultra Light Minnow or Shad, which is what I'm really looking for, oh well, I'm guessing they'll be everywhere after Christmas.
P.S. - on an unrelated note, I'm still looking to replace my enormous tackle bag (big yellow Plano Tackle Logic) that I snapped the carry strap off back in August. I've been checking out the Plano KVD tackle bags, models 4870 (XL size but will only hold 4 tackle trays) or the model 4880 (XXL which claims it can hold up to 11 tackle trays). I would need the XXL, but haven't been able to find one on a store shelf to look at it first hand, and am a little leery about the capacity claims when compared to its dimensions.
Anyone out ther see one of these first hand, and can verify their holding capacity?
Any clues would be appreciated, thanks-
