well, this one just came out this year i think, and i have seen it only in eastern european shops so far. i could order one from sveral shops, but i never was happy with CD5, the CD3 and CD7 are doing much better for me, so i never thoguht about getting one of these. i will try to order one for you with my next batch; this can take a while, price should be around $20; please let me know if you want to buy at this price. alternatively, i trade any overlay / 2-in-1 color for others i do not yet have in my collection.
best, wolfgang

CD-5's Are the best in my opinion for most trout. The CD-3's are not big enough for the larger trout. I find CD-5's or even CD-7's the perfect size altimate fishing lure for bows and bulls. But ya not $20 worth. I bought a few for $7. But can't find any more for a normal price of a CD. If there new, why 20$? Are they not available on this side of the pond?

well, i have started to collect these, and i have to say i am quite happy that most 2-in-1 or overlay colors are coming in just 1 or 2 or maybe 3 models. just think about it, they could do almost any color combination, and if these would be available say just as F and CD whole size range, we would have thousands of different colors. i can understand anybody who wants to have this one specific 2-in-1 color in his favorite model, but as a collector i am happy these are not all availble.
and it would be sure nice to have an F-18 S/BTR ...
but if you are not ready to pay $20 for the CD5 S/BTR, you wouldnt be willing to pay $100, or maybe $200 for the F18.
the good news for you is, the EURO is on a steady way down, so it should be soon a little easier to buy euro-colors in the USA.
with shipping being as expensive as it is, the small oversea packs start at about $7, it only makes sense to order more than 1 rapala from here in germany.
best, w.

I bought a few CD-5's and paid $8 each for them on e-bay, I figured that would be at cost for these. And a F-13 cost $30. So I figured Some one has to be able to get the CD's in a size 7 cheaper. Or any Floaters for under $50.

i think it was mentioned before, but the S/BTR in CD was only made as #5. and i am not sure if the F13 is really the same as the CD5; i dont have the CD5, so i can not check, but if somebody has both, please compare and let us know.
thanks, w.

Are they only made in a CD-5? I didn't know that. And for the CD/Floater comparision I have both and they are not the same. The F-13 has blue circles with red around them. The CD's have red circles with blue around them, other than that they look similar.

yes, they are very nice. this is my latest addition to the collection, i mean, collecting all these overlay colors. i wish they did more on other rapala, most of these have been on HJs so far, but within the last year or so many have been showing up on other models.
best, w.
