Miami Back country report 11/31/11

Ok, now that I have your attention. I deceided to hit up the Miami canals after the cold front looking for some action. Boy, I wasn't dissappointd, fish everywhere! Seems the afternoon warm up really turned them on. I even caught a slam for the boat,Snook,Peacock Bass, and Lg.mouth bass.
With Peacocks up to 6lbs! All fish we're caught on Rapalas moving at warp speed. Anyways I tried to take some pics of the nicer fish for yous to check out. Remember I was riding solo today. Thanks for reading my report.

Is that lumpy fish head normal??? I want to fish in Florida, I hope to go this year. Gotta talk to the wife into a warm weather vacation!!

The first fish pictured is a Common Snook.

In the pics of the Peacock Bass. The male grows the lump when in mating season, after spawning it disappears.

You can only catch Peacock's in the Amazon and South Florida. If anyone is planing on a trip down here. I'm also a U.S.C.G licensed charter Capt. Specializing in Peacock bass fishing, and Everglades back country fishing.
