The colour code for this will either be pink candy or foil candy. It's hard to say as there pretty hard to tell apart.

I agree with Jason,
See the glare on the eyes? That shouldn't be there becuase Rapala eyes are painted on AFTER the clear coat.

Hello John I think that's a custom paint job because it has that plastic eyes and I don't have seen it ever before. But if I have to say if it's a real paintjob it comes close to Spotted Minnow.
Hope this helps a bit, Wijnand

But since there are no trebles with it, like the CD 'shell' countdowns I have seen - do those have the eyes painted afterwards as well? I'm just curious....also the bigger thing here is apparently someone is selling fake specials, if that is a custom.

Ted, that could have originally been a PW or PH colored lure, both of which were Specials. So this may just be the original box. I see a lot of these in Japan.

And the Spotted Minnow is a factory color lure. The eyes are also factory. Japan did a few colors with the plastic eyes. Looks like some one may have thrown another clear coat on it though. Kind of yellow in color which it shouldn't be.

Kind of yellow in color which it shouldn't be. Yup, you're right again. Btw, is there also a Fabric in Japan or is it just the fabric in Estonia that makes the lures for Japan? Wijnand
