Taking some time off from this site for awhile....

Without getting into too many personal details....I think I just need to give it a rest for a little while.

I feel like I have been going full bore at this for the last couple of years, and my energies have probably been somewhat misdirected; not to say that this place hasn't come a long way as a result, but I just need to concentrate my efforts in other areas of my life right now.

Another reason this place has grown quite a bit is mainly because of all of you guys; I wanted to thank all of you for your support, donations, and friendships. I'm not really going anywhere, the site will still remain as is, I just need to 'stop the bleeding' as far as finances are concerned.

My intentions are definitely not to make a 'woe-is-me' post or anything like that, but I've sacrificed a lot over the last couple of times. I guess its time to re-evaluate the things that are truly more important.

But I will definitely still be around though, and will look to work on the site in my free time, when I can - it just can't be at the top of my list anymore.

I think we all know where your coming from here Ted, some of us more then others, but we get it. This place is a great place to come visit and talk fishing with friends. it needs not be any more then that. many of us have been here for long enough, we have seen the evolutions and progressions and changes to this great site. This is all because of you, and for that we are grateful. hope everything works out for you in all other endeavors, and im sure we will continue to see you around from time to time and also on other social sites. take care buddy, we will hold the fort down.

thats cool ted as we all from time to time need to sort our lives out, i have this past yr and still ongoing but i keep in touch with this great site, and im sure you will to, thanks for making this place so good , take care my friend
