ok, it's like the other thread, but reversed... what is the cheapest tackle you usually use?
i have some 4 or 5 e rods and reel the same price... really not looking good, but since i use them for light fishing (perch & bass a few years ago, now only bass), they work well

I used a combo set from Scheels that I got for $15 on sale from $30. I broke the rod and use the reel for an inexpensive practice reel for taking apart and such. I also had a Rapala combo set from Target that my wife bought for fathers day last year for $30 dollars, it is broke.

i have a couple of cheap combos i picked up for $20 just to take to the river for bank fishing. the terrain is rough and rocky, and snags are common. this way if they break, i dont really feel too bad. i have some avocet combos and some d-shock combos too. get them on sale and put them in the bed of the truck. when the fail, just grab another. i also have a couple of cheap cheap combos that i had in the bait shop that i have left, might use them and just see how bad they are. i got them for like $6 each. i should take them fishing and just leave them there when im done. whala... the disposable fishing combo. bacon
