I'm trying to identify this lure. By the shape of the lip, it looks like a Magnum. It has the saltwater hooks on it and is 5 1/4 long. It floats so I'm thinking it's a Jointed Magnum J-13. Is this correct? Thanks, Brian  |

that is a j-13. all j13's have that lip on them. the saltwater hooks might have been put on by someone. as far as i know they never made a jointed mag.

good call Jeff, but the hooks might be original.
rapala put saltwater hooks on some of the J13, and some sellers even list them as saltwater jointed 13.
and yes, i never noticed before, but this lip could be coming from a magnum; its always nice to have a different look on things, thanks for that.
i always thought the J13 lip looked strange, but i would have never come to the conclusion that it might be coming from a mag.
