Ok folks, here we go! I'll supply more info later on, but for now - - - We'll be holding our very first raffle in the month of June! What's at stake: FIRST PRIZE: Rapala Blue FR-5 Fat Rap, signed by Jan Eggers SECOND PRIZE: Rapala FireTiger DDFR-7 Down Deep Fat Rap, signed by Jan Eggers THIRD PRIZE: 10 Rapala lures, all either rare, limited, or specials, donated by Jason & myself. These will be top-shelf lures! FOURTH PRIZE: 5 new Rapala lures, Rapala Pro Secrets DVD, & Rapala floating keychain, donated by me - no junk here folks, good quality expensive Rapalas, no some cheapo RNR lot! FIFTH PRIZE: 3 new Rapala lures & Rapala floating keychain, donated by me-same thing, great new Rapala lures! ~ ~ ~ RAFFLE FAQ ~ ~ ~ How do I know that these were signed by Jan Eggers himself?Well, you can either ask him on the boards yourself, or if you need visual proof, you can see the lures in the bottom left of this picture. What types of lures are included in the third place prize?Well I do not want to give away the surprise, but Jason sent me a bunch of great stuff to use for this raffle - I am also going to pitch in some lures myself as well. Don't worry, these are not lures that you can just walk into any old sporting good store and pull off the rack. This lot includes limited editions, specials, and exclusives. Trust me! Ok, well what about the 4th & 5th place prizes? These won't necessarily be rare or specials, but they will be *new* lures, and we're not just talking about a bunch of cheapo Rattlin' Raps either. Again, you will not be disappointed. How long do I have to purchase tickets?Well, basically from now, until midnight EST on June 30th. Anything received after that time will be refunded! Do I need to be a registered member of RapalaNation.com?Yes! We would rather have these great collectibles in the hands of 'family'. Is there a post count minimum for this raffle? No there isn't, just as long as you are registered and your account is activated. Is there a limit on how many raffle tickets I can buy?No, go nuts! What if I don't have a PayPal account?I suppose you could send me a money order if you wish, but please PM me or shoot me an email at RapalaNation@gmail.com Can I win more than one prize? No, in interests of fairness if you win one of the prizes, we move on to the next person so we can have 5 different winners. What if I want to trade my prize with another member? If you want to beg and grovel with another winner to trade prizes, than then that's your business! How will the winners be chosen? This is very high-tech stuff! Basically if you buy 10 tickets, 10 pieces of paper with your name on it go into a hat. My wife will be pulling the names, since she doesn't know who any of you are, she's impartial. How do we know that you'll be donating the money to charity?Any remaining amount after shipping out packages will be donated to C.A.S.T. For Kids . If you simply think I am going to shortchange some disabled children, then don't purchase any raffle tickets, that's all. I think that pretty much covers everything. Feel free to purchase tickets now if you wish! Good luck!!!

I think to be an actual raffle, the more tickets you get, the more things you should be able to win. Is the raffle money going towards the costs of the lures and shipping or just towards the shipping before the rest of the money is donated? Whats the protocol for donating things for the next raffle? Is it possible to donate two rare lures to be signed, one goes to the raffle, the other back in our collections Are there any H13s in any of these prize pools

I think to be an actual raffle, the more tickets you get, the more things you should be able to win. How do you figure? More tickets increases your chances of winnings, not your winnings.
Is the raffle money going towards the costs of the lures and shipping or just towards the shipping before the rest of the money is donated? Mostly for shipping, but I have put out quite a bit of money on Rapalas this year for this promo and for others down the road.
Whats the protocol for donating things for the next raffle? What do you mean?
Is it possible to donate two rare lures to be signed, one goes to the raffle, the other back in our collections You'll have to ask Jan that question.
Are there any H13s in any of these prize pools
Maybe

A raffle is a competition in which people buy numbered tickets. Originating in southern Italy, it is a popular game in numerous countries and is often held to raise funds for a specific event, charity, or occasion. The raffle involves many people buying tickets for a chance to win a certain prize or prizes. At a set date, the winners are drawn from a bucket containing a copy of every number or a tombola (from Italian: tombola ['to:mbola]). The ticket is then checked against a collection of prizes with numbers attached to them. A raffle also often involves several different possible prizes that can be won, and a ticket will simply be drawn from the group at random for each of the prizes one by one. Running a raffle is illegal in most of the United States, although many states make an exception for raffles in which the proceeds go to charity. In the United States laws regarding raffles are decided upon by state governments just as other types of games of chance. In the United States raffle laws vary considerably by state. Some states define charitable raffles as equal to lotteries and therefore have deemed them illegal. Other states allow raffles for charities but do not have lotteries. Raffle License or Application The application for the raffle license may be required by the state, county or city government. Sometimes organizations must file with the state and local government so it is always wise to contact all government agencies. Most applications require a fee. Raffle Requirements Each state also has different requirements about the organizations that are allowed to hold a raffle and the manner in which it is conducted. For example according to the laws of Colorado, the organization must have been in existence for five years before an application for a bingo/raffle license can be made. Some state raffle laws limit the number of raffles that a tax-exempt organization can hold. Other states have other very specific laws about the value of prizes given away, the format of tickets and other aspects of the raffle. www.state.nj.us/lps/ca/lgccc.htm
