You might be a little late for this one, but we certainly expect to do more of these - the Minnow Rap is a tough one, I'll have to come up with a different lure to use next month. Welcome aboard, if I haven't said so already...

Firstly Welcome nridley !!!!! Its a nice one with "catch me if you can" But there is only one question where you can Fish in Israel? The Death Sea?!? Well not at the moment, but according to the Bible there will be a time when a river will flow from Jerusalem to the Dead Sea and there will be fish there to catch. Actually one enterprising soul has already acquired fishing rights to a section of the Dead Sea coastline Actually thee are plenty of places to fish in Israel. We have a very long coastline, the Sea of Galilee, some small pay ponds and The Red Sea in Eilat. Something of interest: The gray mullet, which lives in the sea, can also survive very well in estuaries - brackish water and even in more fresh water than salt water. So, here in Israel we have a lot of commercial fish ponds. They did a bit of thinking and took the gray mullet and started to raise them in their fresh water fish ponds! They have even been introduced into the Sea of Galilee (fresh water) where they are doing just fine. So now I can catch nice sized gray mullet in a fresh water lake Blessings, Nigel
