Hello, everyone. My name is Fadill and I'm from Malaysia. I'm married and have one 3 years old beautiful daughters. I fished a lot when I was a teenager using live bait. I just returned from fishing few weeks ago at Royal Belum, Temenggor Dam, Malaysia. My target fish is a Giant Snakehead and here the fish absolutely love Rapalas especially Fat Rap and Risto Rap. I'm sorry if i used broken english. That me with 1.8kg Giant Snakehead and Risto Rap That's a nice looking snakehead. I notice that the line is all twisted around the fish's body - do they normally twist and turn like that during the fight? P.S. Your English is OK

This Giant Snakehead trapped in net, luckly the fish manage to escape but the net still at the fish body. The fish are release safely after i cut all the net.

Looks to me like that fish got lucky . If it would have been caught up in a new net . It probably never would have gotten out . Ive caught a few salmon with net on them as well . Ones that narrowly escaped the Indian nets .

RULES of the forum (can i say f##@* and etc.. .)? I know that that 4 letter word has been said before but it is better to not to as there are probably a lot of folks that get offended by that kind of talk.

OK! I go wash my mouth with soap You can use toothpaste - it tastes better Seriously though, we have a wide range of folks here from all over the world and some in parts the use of 4 letter words id deemed OK but we have to think of others and we certainly wouldn't want to put people off from participating on the forum.

Hey everyone, My name is Chris and I live near Cincinnati, Ohio and I am a tackle collecting addict for about 13 years now. I have a vast collection of many different lure mfgrs. from days past. I am married to a very understanding wife and I have 2 kids. A son and a daughter. I am a simple man who like fishing, baseball, and good beer. I mainly fish small waters around my home....ponds, streams, etc. I do make trips to Dale Hollow twice a year and an Ontario trip which always rocks! I have been nosing around this site for awhile now and I really enjoy all the information that is available. I must admit...I always fished with Rapalas but never gave them a second thought...until now. Some of my first lures when I was a kid growing up were original floaters in shad color. I got pretty good at using them and had more fun tricking those weary farm pond bass into crushing them! What good memories.... Well, enough of my boring stories. Thanks for all who have contributed to this awesome site! Chris (lsbabycat) Attachments:

Hi, to introduce myself, I Aldin from ex Yugoslavia, namely Bosnia and Herzegovina from now. Sorry for my bad English. I am married and have two daughters. I deal with many different topics, mountaineering, caving, kayaking, rafting ... I'm pretty active;) Fishing I inherited from dad so I do not remember when I started to fishermen. I look at it as an integral part of life, and not as to sport or hobby. My country has a very nice river for fishing, my house is located next to a river so much time I spend on the River. I give all respect for rap, that's why I'm here. Here it is very difficult to get to your original file, the market has a lot of copies and rejection, I have friends who send me something Whereas in the U.S. and then see what is the difference ... My name is Brian. I am from Evansville, IN. I joined to read more about how people fish with different conditions. I have heard so much about how selecting the right color lure makes a difference. I know Rapala has a tremendous choice of color along with a great quality lure. Just hoping to learn more.

Hi, I am Kees from the Netherlands. I am new here, hope to find lots of info about discontineud lures. I am a great J-11 collector, have 30 different pieces and still growing. and looking for a couple, note my signature, if you have any J-11 that is not on this pic, please send me a PM As i am new here, i need to figure out how this board works so if i am out of line (hehe) please correct me. I hope not to bother the mods to much tho. I need to know wich subboard i need to use for asking about discon. collors of husky jerks and can i use imageshack.us for posting pics? And what is that with the Rapcash. Is this to go with the amount of posts? and what is the purpose?. Tight lines!

hello, im mick. 23 year old living in michigan and ive known about this place and figured its about time i joined since i use nothing but rapalas and spinnerbaits. my fav rapala so far would have to be the flat rap in size 10 in colour original pearl shad. and my fav rapalas in my collection (the lures i no longer use) would have to be my HJ08 and HJ10 in minnow. and thats all i can think of at the moment..
