Hi all! My name is Kimmo Kallinki, I'm 35 year old fisherman in Finland. I fished with trolling I have been in National Championchips for two times. My home lake is Lappajärvi, it's a crater lake and most of time I fish zander and pike but sometimes also traut. I started collection last chrismas when I get Husky's SM 2nd version it was so good shape that I could't put that in water. That's why I started collect H-13 Husky's. So hi all you guy's! Kimmo

Hi Ted,
I just signed up to this site a few minutes ago. My name is Paul and I live in Cincinnati, OH for the past 20 years. Moved here from NJ for my job, from which I recently retired. I'm still and old born and raised Jersey boy deep down. I have been obsessed with bass fishing since my move out here. Prior to that, living in New Jersey, I fished primarily for trout. I'm a big Rapala fan and just purchased some DT Fat and Thug baits to try out, which I hope to do this Friday. I'll be married 32 years next January and have no kids. Looking forward to learning and sharing info on this site.
Paul

Howdy all. My name is Marcus, 42 and I'm an inventor/small business owner in Florida. I've been a guide/commercial fisherman/retailer most of my life and have no ambition to do much else. If it has to do with the water - fresh or salt, I'm there... I've been with my wife Dominique for 14 yrs now and we have labs, no kids. She's a doll to put up with the crap a fisherman can bring in. Together we supply small mom and pop type tackle shops with hooks, rigged lures, etc and I fish my a$$ off. She's even getting into collecting lures w/ me so I can't complain. Life is good! Thanks to the owners and moderators of this site, it's awesome. Just what a tackle junkie like me needs. I plan on hanging out a bit when I'm not on the road or fishing. Flounder season is coming soon so I will be pouring plastic, yum! Knowledge is what I seek and this is the place!

Hi all. I'm a 22 years old man from Finland. I am a fishing guide, I'm specialized to fishing in Norway, especially Halibut. I collect Rapala Slivers and Rapala 26cm Magnums. My hobbies are Fishing ( isn't that obvious ), Snowkiting, building aircraft scale models, making my own lures, Fly fishing and Fly tying. Also i'm hugely interested in soaring. My biggest fish ever is this 20kg Cod from last summer in Norway: And i'm also pretty happy from this 8kg Wolf fish from 2011: And this one is also nice, an action pic The rod is like iron pole, it doesn't bend easily with hands, but when a huge fish fights at the end of the line, it Bends!:

Hi all, Well I'm the guy that seems to never 'be here' as of late, but I wanted to thank you guys for coming, and welcome! This board isn't really what I want it to look like at the moment, so I apologise to all of you. Hoping to get some housecleaning done and organize this board better. My real job has really been killing me as of late (in a good way, better to be busy than unemployed), and when I get home, the last thing I want to do is sit in front of a computer again, lol . Welcome all and please bear with the layout! Ted

Pat here. "Backdraft" is my posting name.
Live and do most of my fishing in SE Wisconsin.
The Rapala family of lures has always been my confidence baits. My "go to" One of those feelings you get when you just know it's right.
I believe you can catch ANYTHING that swims on a Rapala, followed by Mepps spinner, or Daredevle.
My young daughter caught her first topwater fish on a Skitter Pop a few weekends ago. I don't think she will ever let that lure off of her rod.
I'm an avid musky fisherman but enjoy northern pike, bass - just about anything.
The original floaters are still my favorite.
Hi Everyone !

Hi there from middle Europe, Czech Republic. Just found this board few days later. I´m Ota aged 30, posting name MrStick. I started to go fishing in 1994. Last 10 years only spinning especially for northern pike. Rapala lures were and still are my favourite baits. In my opinion there is no predatory species of fish here in europian lakes, ponds and rivers you could catch on it. My TOP of all time by Rapala: Risto Rap 7, Shad Rap 5, 7, Shallow Shad Rap 5, 7, 9 and Team Esko of course. Just TE started to collect last year. Now I have about 29 colours, mostly ordinary ones. Actually I´m looking for rare and "more rare" pieces ... today I bought TE7 Silver Special Red from Jason at his ebay store. So may I pass?

Hey Folks,
My Name is Gino , All i do outside of work is bass fishing. I have been very pleased with alot of the baits being released from Rapala over the last few years and am looking to learn more about them here.
my first real successful Rapala bait was a HJ 14 that i painted to look like a trout. I fished it like a swimbait for years. In california the stocked trout are a favorite food source for the local bass and stripers. I've caught over a dozen fish over 6lbs with this bait and have been hooked on various other rapala baits ever since.
